Message from Rector

Although Isparta University of Applied Sciences (ISUBÜ) was established in 2018, it carries a deep-rooted history, tradition, and experience through its departments. In this respect, it combines that historical experience with the dynamism of being a young university and presents a vision that looks to the future with hope.

As one of Türkiye's universities built on applied, vocational-practice-based education, Isparta University of Applied Sciences aims to combine the production and transfer of knowledge with sectoral work and to offer it as a service to society. In this context, we attach great importance to putting theoretical knowledge into practice by preparing our education programmes in line with this goal, and we strive to prepare our students for today's competitive environment in the best possible way by equipping them with contemporary and up-to-date knowledge. We work in cooperation with many private and public institutions and organisations to achieve this.

Our university offers opportunities that allow our students to look to the future with hope: innovative projects and R&D studies, programmes aiming at sectoral integration, internship opportunities, and scientific, social and cultural activities. We have adopted the principle of educating our students as qualified individuals who are conscious of and sensitive to human values, loyal to their cultural values and useful to their country; who can think innovatively, critically and analytically; who are open to technological developments, able to catch the spirit of the age, and strong in communication. To this end, we continue to improve and develop the infrastructure of our university.

Aware of the young population of our country, we hold the responsibility of meeting society's need for qualified human resources — by enabling our students to receive a high-quality education, to develop themselves scientifically, and to be prepared in the best possible way for today's conditions, in which knowledge is equivalent to power. In this context, training a qualified workforce with the knowledge and skills to contribute to the development of our country in every respect has been our priority.

Together with our academic and administrative staff, our alumni and all our other stakeholders, we value the mission of the "ISUBÜ Family". We take a close interest in the problems of our students and do our best to support them in reaching a solution. As a requirement of the fair, merit-based, transparent, and reliable management approach we have adopted, we value respect for our differences and for free thought. This strengthens our sense of belonging and reinforces our trust in one another.

Our university will continue to raise individuals who meet the requirements of the 21st century with their qualifications, who are competent and well-equipped in their field, respectful towards humanity, and well-versed in cultural and moral values. We firmly believe that the individuals we educate and bring into society will also contribute to the development of our university, our country, and humanity.
