Graduation Ceremony Held for International Students at IUAS

Under the theme “Birds Returning Home,” 84 international students from 22 different countries received their diplomas in Isparta.

The graduation ceremony, held at the Faculty of Agriculture of Isparta University of Applied Sciences (IUAS) on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 3:00 PM, featured colorful performances and emotional moments. International students studying in Isparta experienced the excitement of graduation while reminiscing about the friendships they built and the memories they gathered during the program organized with the theme “Birds Returning Home.”

A total of 84 international students from 22 different countries—with Indonesia, Syria, and Yemen topping the list—graduated at the ceremony. The event began with a moment of silence, the Turkish National Anthem, and a recitation of the Holy Qur'an, followed by an international student fashion show that received great acclaim. After the protocol speeches, the graduates were invited to the stage. Following speeches made on behalf of the female and male graduates, cultural activities such as a Kazakhstan Dance Show, Iranian Song Recital, Indonesian Dance Show, and Kazakhstan Music Performance were held.

The program finalized with the presentation of certificates and plaques, a group souvenir photo, and the cap-tossing ceremony.

The program was attended by ISUBÜ Rector Prof. Dr. Yılmaz Çatal, UDEF Isparta President Ali Aslan, ULÖT Advisor Asst. Prof. Emre Bıçakçı, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture Assoc. Prof. Fatmagül Göze, and Rector Advisor Lecturer Ülkü Limoncu from the International Relations Office. The ceremony was organized in partnership with UDEF, TUMED, UOD, ULOT, IUAS, and SDU. With their diplomas in hand, the graduating students will return to their countries to carry the knowledge and experience they have gained back to their homelands.
