Prof. Dr. Yılmaz ÇATAL, Rector of Isparta University of Applied Sciences, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nevzat GÜRLEVİK, International Relations Coordinator, took part in the "Study in Türkiye" pavilion of the Turkish National Agency at the NAFSA 2026 event held in Orlando, USA, between May 26–29, 2026.
Our university was promoted at this organization, where 89 Turkish universities were represented, and detailed information regarding our institution's academic programs, research capacity, and international cooperation potential was shared. Meetings were held with representatives from other universities and the private sector from different regions of the world, and comprehensive discussions were carried out on student and faculty exchange programs, joint research projects, dual degree programs, and other academic cooperation opportunities.
Following the event, North Carolina State University (NCSU), a public university in North Carolina, was visited. During the visit, detailed information was obtained on the university's current research activities and education system, and potential collaboration opportunities were discussed.
